Target INS Advantages
Accuracy Independantly Varified
The Target INS was best performer at DeBeers/IMSSA Voorsped land
surveyed test pipe being 3 times more accurate than our nearest oilfield
competitor. Also tested succesfully at Rogaland test facility in Norway.
All Attitude
Surveys highly accurately, continuously, and at high speed at any inclination.
True Continuous Measurement
No in-hole drift tunes or stops of any kind. Any increment out put (i.e. 1
foot) as tool measures 160 times per second on the fly. Reports are as
per clients requirement with no change in operating procedure. Greatly
reduced rig downtime.
No Post Processing
On board Kalman Filter corrects for drift in real time and on the fly
eliminating need for post processing and drift corrections. First output is
final output . RAW data is final data. No human error.
In & Out Run
Is measured with each survey. As Target INS is a truely continous system
this can be acheived without any productivity sacrifice providing effective
quality control immediately after every survey.
On Site Calibration
The Target INS is calibrated fully immediately prior to every survey (away
from well) thus ensuring maximum tool performance and certification for
every survey. Regular factory calibration is not required.
Reliable & Tough
Temperature rated to 125 dec C without heatshield and up to 270 deg Celsuis
with heatshield. Pressure rated to 15,000psi. Shock rated to 500G when
hardmounted. The shock mounted Target INS electronics can endure
drops of 3000m in a dry well. With almost no spare parts and simple
reliable connections we provide reliable, accurate and uninerupted services.
One System – 3 Services
Multishot, Steering and Drop/Memory Surveys are all conducted using the
same probe meaning greater flexibility, availibility and reliability.
Customer Service
Regular customer visits by managers and staff of DHS Oil ensures a high
standard of customer service is maintained. Any problems that may arise
are dealt with promptly and the necessary procedural changes are made.
